The Sabinensee is located in the municipality of Gerswalde in northeast Brandenburg in the south of the Uckermark district . It has a water surface of about 50 hectares. Not far from the eastern lakeshore is Willmine , a district of Gerswalde. The lake is approximately 1.3 kilometers long and approximately 400 meters wide.
The lake is part of the Uckermark lake landscape in the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve .
The crescent-shaped lake is almost completely surrounded by reeds, making the lake shore difficult to reach.
