Sacha Dhawan (2010)

Sacha Dhawan (born May 1, 1984 in Manchester ) is a British actor .

Dhawan grew up in Bramhall , near Stockport in Greater Manchester . His family is Hindu . As a child he had tap dancing lessons and his dance teacher recommended him to a children's agency. At the age of 12 he already appeared in small theaters. He also attended the Laine-Johnson Theater School. He studied at Aquinas College in Stockport.

Dhawan appeared in both the theatrical and film versions of The History Boys . When auditioning for the play, he convinced Alan Bennett by reciting a poem he had written. 2007 won Dhawan for his role in Bradford Riots a Royal Television Society Award in the category TV breakthrough (On-Screen Breakthrough)

From 2010 to 2011 he played Manmeet in the US sitcom Outsourced .

Since 2020 he has played the master's in the British cult series Doctor Who , one of the doctor's worst opponents .
