Sadunajiwka ( Ukrainian Задунаївка ; Russian Задунаевка Sadunajewka , Romanian Dunareanca ) is a village in the southwest of the Ukrainian Odessa oblast with about 2000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded by Bulgarian settlers in 1822 , had 105 households with a total of 718 residents in 1859 and 126 households with a total of 1500 residents in 1870. By 1905 the number of households rose to 278 with a total of 2,138 inhabitants.
Sadunajiwka is the only village in the 80.38 km² district council of the same name in the southwest of Arzys Rajon .
The village is located on the banks of the Kyrhysch-Kytaj ( Киргиж-Китай ), a 64 km long tributary of the Kytaj Lake ( Китай (озеро) ), 32 km southwest of the district center of Arzys and about 170 km southwest of the Odessa oblast center .
At Sadunajiwka the territorial roads T – 16–08 and T – 16–45 cross .
