The Sagamihara Asamizo Park Stadium ( Japanese 相 模 原 麻 溝 公園 競技場 ), also known as Sagamihara Gion Stadium since March 1, 2014 due to an ongoing sponsorship agreement with the logistics service provider Gion , is a rugby and football stadium with an athletics facility in the Minami-ku district of Japan Sagamihara City , Kanagawa Prefecture . The stadium is located in Sagamihara Asamizo Park ( Japanese相 模 原 麻 溝 公園 ). The sports facility offers 15,300 seats in its stands.
It is the home ground of SC Sagamihara football club and Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara women's football club . In 2010, FC Machida Zelvia also played games in the Park Stadium. The stadium with the athletics facility is classified as a Type 2 facility by the Japanese Athletics Federation (JAAF). The nearest train station is Harataima on the Sagami Line .
