Saint-Marc-des-Carrières is a city ( ville ) in the MRC Portneuf in the Canadian province of Québec .
The city is located about 70 km west of the provincial capital Québec on the north bank of the Saint Lawrence River . In 2006 it had a total of 2851 inhabitants and has an area of 16.73 km².

Saint-Marc-des-Carrières was founded in 1806. On June 12, 2004, Saint-Marc-des-Carrières received city rights.
