Sala dear

Sala Lieber (born March 11, 1980 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian painter who lives in Germany .

Career

From 1999 to 2001, Lieber studied painting with Elke Hopfe , Max Uhlig and Siegfried Klotz at the Dresden Art Academy , before continuing her studies at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 2001 to 2006 , under Jörg Immendorff , Gerhard Merz and Herbert Brandl . Sara Lieber received the appointment of a master class student from Brandl - graduating with an academy certificate. During her studies, in 2003, she received an order from the Hungarian Embassy in Berlin to design the Hungarian United Buddy Bear , which has since been shown in over 30 exhibitions on five continents.

“Sala Lieber's work is characterized by courtly themes and baroque motifs that seem to come from another time, but at the same time reflect a lightness and modernity [sic!]. This can be seen in her opulent and detailed oil paintings, which are determined by bright colors. "

"Sara Lieber paints pictures of baroque color and ornamentation inspired by the Rococo, but has developed her own style for this: smart, modern and often with a great pinch of humor."
