The Salangstal ( Norwegian Salangsdalen ) is a river valley in the municipality of Bardu in Troms og Finnmark in Norway . The Salangselva River flows through the valley from the north. The valley ends in the middle of Bardu, near the Setermoen crime scene .

The E6 runs through the valley from north to south. The polar zoo , which opened in 1994, is located in Salangsdal. It is the northernmost zoo in the world. The Salangsdalen Kapell chapel is located in the southern part of the valley. The Rohkunborri National Park is to the east, right next to the valley.
