history
Residential building
The house was built in 1899 by Bad Kissingen architect Carl Krampf in the historicizing style. The property is a two-storey red sandstone block building with a hipped roof and gray sandstone structure. The emphasized central axes of the cubic building are provided with pilaster strips that extend over both floors and end with freely Baroque ornaments.
Row of shops
The row of shops was built in 1904 as a western extension with an ionizing arcature behind the residential building facing the saltworks promenade. The annex with a columnar arcade originally housed an antique shop called "Kunstsalon".
At this time, as in Salinenstraße 47 (the former Café Neptun) and the Balthasar-Neumann-Promenade, more and more bazaars were built on promenade paths.
