Salland
Salland is a region in the Dutch province of Overijssel .
The region encompasses the area between the cities of Deventer , Zwolle , Ommen and Rijssen-Holten and is scenically interesting because of its small castles and forests. The eastern bank of the IJssel forms the western border of the region. In addition to the cities mentioned, the extensive industrial village of Raalte is particularly important. Of tourist interest are among others the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park (Salland Hills Ridge), the hills of which rise up to 75 m above sea level , cycling tours and urban architecture.
