Sallenbusch or settlement Sallenbusch is a settlement in the district of Baden-Wuerttemberg community Weingarten .

geography

The Sallenbusch settlement is located in the eastern part of the Weingarten community, about one kilometer from the Weingarten exit towards Walzbachtal-Jöhlingen . To the west is the Sohl settlement belonging to Weingarten . The settlement is located in a depression on the extreme western edge of the Kraichgau . In the vicinity of the settlement is the field well, the Sallenbusch well, which has been a protected natural monument since 1987 .

history

In July 1951, the groundbreaking ceremony for the settlement was made, and American pioneers participated in the construction. In 1952 the 15 farmhouses were completed and mostly resettler farms from the Weingartner town center were housed there.

today

Today the Sallenbusch settlement is still characterized by farms , but at the same time it has also developed into a local recreation area .
