Since he was a teenager in 2004 until today, he has played for al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia. During this time he gained quite a bit of success. This win could then be repeated in the next season. In the Champions League, on the other hand, he made it to the final in 2014 . Due to the 1-0 defeat in the first leg against Western Sydney Wanderers , the 0-0 second leg was only enough for second place in the end. In 2015 he and his team won the Super Cup and the King Cup for the first time in his career . In both cases, his team won against al-Nasr .
The next year he won the Crown Prince Cup again and the following year his club was again champions of the league after a long time. It also went back to the final of the Champions League . There the team failed again. This time the second leg against the Urawa Red Diamonds was lost after a 1-1 draw in the first leg 1-0. The following year the championship and the Super Cup were won again. The whole thing was finally crowned in the third attempt with the first victory of the Champions League. In the final he faced the Red Diamonds again with his club . In this final, compared to the last time, even as captain. In the first and second leg, a victory could be celebrated, which in the end meant winning the cup.
