Salomon Ruby
Salomon Rubin (born April 3, 1823 in Dolyna , † February 14, 1910 in Krakow ) was an important Hebrew author and enlightenment .
Works (selection)
Rubin wrote about 25 books and numerous articles in the Hebrew language. Among the best known were
- History of superstition (Leipzig 1888)
- Paganism and Kabbalah (Vienna 1892)
He became particularly well known for a Hebrew translation of Spinoza .
Rubin was also a permanent contributor to the Hebrew magazine Hashachar .
