Salvatore Puccio (* 31 August 1989 in Menfi ) is an Italian professional - cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2007 Salvatore Puccio won a stage of the Giro della Toscana for juniors. In 2011 he turned professional. In the same year he won the Tour of Flanders (U23) and took further podium places in small road races. At the Coppa della Nazioni (U23) he finished fourth overall and won Florence-Viareggio . In 2012 he finished eleventh on the Tour of Luxembourg and took third place in the third stage of the Tour de Suisse . In 2013 he won the team time trial at the Giro d'Italia with his team Sky and in 2016 at the Vuelta a España .
