The Salza is a right tributary of the Unstrut in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia .

The Salza in Bad Langensalza

The Salza rises from the Große and Kleine Golke , two karst springs southwest of Ufhoven . It takes on the direction of flow of the Zimmerbach, which flows there , and flows through the town of Bad Langensalza . There it divides into two arms. Two kilometers east of the city, the Salza flows into the Unstrut at the Kallenbergsmühle .

The right arm flows as a Riedsgraben near Nägelstedt into the Unstrut.
