Samantha Robinson (born October 19, 1991 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress .

life and career

Samantha was born to an Englishman and an Ecuadorian in New York City and grew up in London , her father's homeland , from the age of three . She attended Queen's Gate Girls' School in South Kensington . One of her first acting roles was in a performance of the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the West End Theater . At 14, the family moved back to the United States, Miami , where they attended the New World School of the Arts . After finishing school, she moved to Los Angeles , where she graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in acting in 2014 .

In 2012, she took on her first role on camera with a guest appearance on Everyone Wants Theirs . She then moderated the game show The 3 Minute Update in a total of 20 broadcasts in 2013 . After graduating from university, she was cast in the 2014 film Sugar Daddies . In 2016 she became better known for her role as Elaine in the independent film The Love Witch . Her portrayal earned her a lot of praise in the American press, for example, the New Yorker magazine named her one of the best actresses of 2016.

In 2019 she starred as Abigail Folger in the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood directed by Quentin Tarantino .
