Samaria was an independent village in the Santa Cruz Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Samaria was the fifth largest town in the canton of Paurito in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Santa Cruz in the province of Andrés Ibáñez . It is located at an altitude of 401  m directly east of the border of the Santa Cruz canton , which includes the Santa Cruz urban region . Since the 2012 census, Samaria is no longer listed as an independent town, but has become part of the metropolis of Santa Cruz.

Samaria is located in the Bolivian lowlands east of the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Central .
