Samir Azzimani ( Arabic سمير عزيماني, DMG Samīr ʿAzzīmānī ; * October 22, 1977 in Levallois-Perret ) is a Moroccan ski racer and cross-country skier .

Career

From 2000 to 2013, Azzimani mainly participated in FIS races as an alpine ski racer . At the Alpine World Ski Championships he finished 46th in the giant slalom in St. Anton am Arlberg in 2001 , 77th in the giant slalom in St. Moritz in 2003 and 76th in the giant slalom in Bormio in 2005 . At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he finished 74th in giant slalom and 44th in slalom.

Azzimani has been participating in cross-country skiing in FIS races and in the cross-country skiing Continental Cup since 2013 . At the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun , he finished 125th in the sprint. In February 2018 he came in 111th place over 15 km freestyle at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
