Sammie Bush (born March 1, 1987 in Boynton Beach , Florida) is an American R&B singer.

Live and act

Sammie Bush sang as a young child and made his first solo appearance in the church choir when he was four. His musical talent was also noticed at school, and he switched to a school with a music promotion program. He sang with two other students as Wonder 3 , who were invited to the television show Showtime at the Apollo . There he also appeared as a solo singer in 1998 and won the show final.

Thereupon the producer Dallas Austin contacted him, and at the age of almost 13 years his first album From the Bottom to the Top was released . The album and debut single I Like It were immediately very successful; both achieved gold status straight away .

In the following years he interrupted his music career and only completed a normal school education before he made a second attempt with Dallas Austin again at the age of 18. However, he could not build on the success of his debut as a child star. Although the album still made it into the top 10 of the R&B charts, it turned out to be quite short-lived, and the first two single releases were only minor R&B hits.

Then Sammie separated from Austin and founded his own label with his manager Malcolm Lee. Before he had finished his third album three years later, he was able to report one more time with greater success. At the side of Soulja Boy , he had a top 3 hit in the US singles charts in early 2009 with his release Kiss Me Thru the Phone .
