Landesbank Baden-Württemberg Collection

The Landesbank Baden-Württemberg Collection is an art collection of the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg . It includes around 2000 exhibits of modern and contemporary European art.

The starting point for the collection was the Hölzelkreis in Stuttgart , whose representatives include Oskar Schlemmer and Willi Baumeister . Since the 1990s, the collection parts for national and international contemporary art have been built up with around 60 artists, including a .: Franz Ackermann , Thomas Demand , Otto Dix , Günther Förg , Andreas Gursky , Georg Herold , Martin Kippenberger , Thomas Locher , Michel Majerus , Reinhard Mucha , Albert Oehlen , Thomas Ruff , Thomas Schütte , Rosemarie Trockel , Tobias Rehberger , Wolfgang Tillmans . Part of the collection is shown in the Museum of New Art in Karlsruhe.
