Reinhard Mucha

Reinhard Mucha (born February 19, 1950 in Düsseldorf ) is a German artist (conceptual art, sculpture, objects, installations, photography, mail art).

life and work

Mucha studied with Klaus Rinke in Düsseldorf . His larger art objects consist of apartment interiors such as wooden furniture or bathroom ceramics, but - and this is what distinguishes his art from that of Marcel Duchamp - are not readymades , but adaptations and are often reassembled when changing locations. Mucha is a two-time Documenta participant and exhibited in the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 1990 . In 1984 he was represented at the group exhibition “ From Here - Two Months of New German Art in Düsseldorf ”.

The avowed fan of the Fortuna 95 football club lives and works in Düsseldorf and France.
