Collection of company regulations
A collection of operational regulations ( abbreviation : SbV ) is the collection of service regulations for a non-federally owned railway on the implementation of operational service. It applies in addition to other statutory ordinances and regulations such as the railway building and operating regulations , the driving regulations for non-federal railways (FV-NE) or the directive on railway signals . The SbV can in turn be supplemented by operating instructions.
The collection of operational regulations is sometimes referred to synonymously as local guidelines or local operational regulations or, for larger station areas, as station book , although these terms are sometimes also given other meanings or the meaning of these overlap with the SbV.
The collection of company regulations includes:
- Description of the scope of the SbV, description of the track systems , train stations and stations as well as other infrastructure systems (e.g. water crane , petrol station , coaling plant , investigation pit , turntable, etc.),
- Graphic representation (site plan, layout) of the systems,
- Compilation (listing) of the rules and regulations to be applied in the area of application,
- Compilation of exceptions and deviations from the general regulations applicable to railway operations,
- Installation of the systems requiring special monitoring,
- Definition of the track areas and routes to be regularly observed in shunting operations .
The issuing and updating of the SbV is the responsibility of the operations management of the railway company and in particular the railway operations manager .
Before a railway company uses the railway infrastructure , employees must confirm that they have read and understood the SbV.
