Sammy Kiptoo Kurgat

Sammy Kiptoo Kurgat (* 1975 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2006 he finished second in the Bremerhaven Marathon in 2:15:50 hours. In 2007 he improved his time in second place in the Zurich Marathon to 2:11:35, won in Bremerhaven and in third place in the Frankfurt Marathon set his personal best of 2:08:38.

In 2008 he finished fifth at the Hamburg Marathon and then set a course record at the Cologne Marathon with 2:10:03.

In 2009 he finished fourth in the Xiamen Marathon .

Kurgat has been looked after by the Italian manager Federico Rosa since 2008.

At the Dili Marathon 2011, Kurgat was first in 2:20:06 hours.
