Samson Fox
Samson Fox (born July 11, 1838 in Bradford , West Yorkshire , † October 24, 1903 in Walsall , West Midlands ) was a British engineer , industrialist and philanthropist .
Life
Samson Fox was Mayor of Harrogate City . In 1874 he founded the Leeds Forge Company , a major iron manufacturer for locomotives.
He is the great grandfather of actors Edward and James Fox .
