The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a tablet computer based on the Android operating system from Samsung . The fourth generation of the Galaxy Tab was launched in Germany in 2014. The predecessor was the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 , in the following fifth generation a differentiation was made into entry-level, middle and upper class, and the successor is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 .

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

The 10.1 inch (25.7 cm) TFT LC display measures 21.76 cm × 13.60 cm (10.1 inches) with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels (pixel size 170 µm). The display has a maximum luminance (brightness) of 388  cd / m², a contrast of 143: 1 and can display up to 16 million colors. As in the previous model, the display has a slightly anti-glare coating. The 1.2 GHz quad-core processor has 1536 MB of RAM available. The available memory can be expanded by up to 64 GB via a microSD slot. Other features include a 3 megapixel main camera and a 1.3 MP screen camera as well as a video function with HD resolution (1280 × 720 pixels), and Android 4.4 (KitKat) was supplied as the operating system. All models support Bluetooth and WLAN , possibly also mobile radio in 3G with ( HSPA + up to 21 Mbit / s) or also 4G (LTE).

The following model names have been passed down: SM-T530 ( WiFi only ), SM-T531 (WiFi and 3G) and SM-T535 with WiFi, 3G and 4G.
