The Samtgemeinde Bargstedt was a community association in the south of the Stade district in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

It was formed in 1964 from the five communities Bargstedt , Brest , Reith , Wohlerst and Kakerbeck . On January 1, 1971, Kakerbeck moved to the joint municipality of Ahlerstedt. In 1972 the joint community was dissolved again.

Reith and Wohlerst have been incorporated into Brest. Bargstedt and Brest became part of the Harsefeld municipality .
