Description and history
The ensemble is U-shaped and opens to the south. The parsonage also includes the parsonage , which is protected as a cultural monument and is located far back. It is a two-storey quarry stone building with a billet-hipped roof and dates from the Baroque period . In the 19th century, the rectory was extended to the west and thus redesigned. To the north is a spacious garden, there are still old types of fruit in it today. In the front garden there is a cup with the base of a baptismal font . The rectory dates from the 16th century and, in its completeness, is a rare example of a rectory from the 18th and 19th centuries. Century. The Samuel Walther history workshop has been located in one of the buildings since August 26, 2011. Samuel Walther was a historian and educator from Wegenstadt.
