Samuel Felton
Samuel Felton ( Samuel Morse "Sam" Felton, Jr .; born May 26, 1926 in New York City , † December 24, 2015 in Bar Harbor ) was an American hammer thrower .
At the Olympic Games he was fourth in London in 1948 and eleventh in Helsinki in 1952 .
From 1949 to 1951 he was US champion three times in a row. In weight throwing he was US indoor champion in 1949. As a student at Harvard University , he won the NCAA title in 1949 . He set his personal best of 57.18 m on June 3, 1950 in Travers Island .
