Samuel Oppong (born May 12, 1998 in Kumasi , Ghana ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Oppong began his career at SC Red Star Penzing . In 2009 he joined the youth team at SK Rapid Wien , for which he later played in the academy. In November 2015 he made his debut for the Rapid Amateurs in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Edvin Orascanin on matchday 16 of the 2015/16 season against FK Austria Wien II in the 75th minute . In September 2016 it was awarded to the amateurs of FC Admira Wacker Mödling .
For the 2017/18 season he was awarded to the second division club FC Blau-Weiß Linz . He made his debut in the second division in August 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Lukas Skrivanek in the 60th minute against SV Ried on the fifth match day of that season .
For the 2018/19 season he moved to Cyprus to the second division Olympiakos Nicosia . With Olympiakos he was promoted to the First Division at the end of the season .
He then returned to Austria for the 2019/20 season and moved to the second division club Kapfenberger SV , where he received a contract that ran until June 2021. After five missions for KSV, he left the club in January 2020 and returned to the Rapid Amateurs. For this he came to two missions. For the 2020/21 season he moved to FC Marchfeld Donauauen .
