action
In a fictional counter-world, feudal Japan is populated by humans and highly developed androids . A group of human-like robots , led by a brutal killer couple, soon gets out of control. From now on, these slaughter the human population without any awareness of injustice. When one day the criminal rabble assaults an eleven-headed crowd of young women, rapes them and dismisses them, a Buddhist nun tries to stop the bloody hustle and bustle of the gang. The clergy urges the passing scientist Kyōraku, who also happens to be the creator of that body-modified species, to create a new super fighter from various body parts of the eleven girls who were killed. The seedy scholar agrees. From the limbs , the organs and the hateful souls of the murdered, he unites a nameless, almost indestructible avenger with weapons integrated in the body - that "servant of the devil".
The young android, the self-proclaimed "Devil Princess", then goes on a search for those responsible for that series of murders. On the way she meets her future companion Gekkō, a member of the so-called anti-android unit . The guitar-swinging companion is looking for Kyōraku because he wants to hold him responsible for the death of his family. The dissimilar duo subsequently fights the killer couple and later the mad scientist. The two ultimately eliminate all bad guys. Gekkō is fatally injured.
At the end of the film, the Buddhist nun saves the souls of the eleven young women. You arrive in Buddha's paradise, while the main actress renounces the same and is ultimately struck down by an armed anti-android unit.
background
Kengo Kaji, who previously shot the stylistically similar Tokyo Gore Police , tried to shoot Samurai Princess, one of the typical "Rape & Revenge" strips in the tradition of Tōei pictures. Works by Teruo Ishii , Shun'ya Itō and Yukio Noda ( Zero Woman ) served as inspiration , mixed with hard splatter effects of Category III (Japanese age classification). Due to the small budget, numerous special effects had to be improvised.
The uncut version of the film was only shown as a graduation film at the Japan Film Festival Hamburg (JFFH). The JK version is cut by about six minutes. A box with four trading cards and the unabridged release of the film was released in Switzerland and Austria.
Reviews
"Grotto-like bad film, which is out of the ordinary because all combatants are female, with flawless female bodies being transformed into fighting machines full of weapon implants."
