San Giovanni Battista de Rossi is a Roman Catholic church on Via Cesare Baronio in the Appio-Latino district in the VII Municipio of Rome .

It is named after St. Giovanni Battista de Rossi (1698–1764). The church was founded in 1938 by Pope Pius XII. commissioned; The architect was Tullio Rossi . Due to the Second World War, the church building could only be inaugurated on May 22, 1965. On May 23, 1965, the relics of Giovanni Battista de Rossi from the Church of Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini were transferred in a festive act by Luigi Cardinal Traglia , Vicar General of Rome. On April 29, 1969, Pope Paul VI appointed the church to a title church of the Roman Catholic Church.
