San Juan is a municipality in the Philippine province of La Union and is located on the South China Sea . In 2015, 37,188 inhabitants lived in the 59.7 km² area, resulting in a population density of 623 inhabitants per km². The terrain is hilly and reaches a height of up to 209 meters.
