San Pablo de Tiquina is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
San Pablo de Tiquina is the most populous place in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) San Pedro de Tiquina in the province of Manco Kapac . The village is located at an altitude of 3824 m on the southeast bank of the 800 m wide road from Tiquina , which connects the north and south of Lake Titicaca .

San Pablo de Tiquina lies on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. The region has a distinctive time-of-day climate in which the mean daily temperature fluctuations are more pronounced than the mean seasonal fluctuations.
