The parish church of San Pedro in Fraga , a town in the Spanish province of Huesca in the autonomous region of Aragon , was built in the Middle Ages . The church is a protected architectural monument ( Bien de Interés Cultural ).

history

The core of the church goes back to a Visigothic building that was used as a mosque under the Moors . After the Reconquista in the 12th century, the building was changed in Romanesque style.

description

The one- nave church has well-preserved Romanesque capitals on the portal . The tower, begun in the 12th century, was completed in the Gothic style and finally raised with an octagonal tower during the Baroque .
