San Pedro de Alcántara is a Spanish town on the Costa del Sol , which belongs to the area of ​​the city of Marbella . It is named after the saint of the same name ( Petrus von Alcantara ) and has about 34,000 inhabitants.

The settlement was built in the 1860s by General Manuel Gutierrez de la Concha.

Vega del Mar basilica
