San Ramón is a city in Uruguay .

geography

San Ramón is located south of the Cuchilla del Chamizo in the north of the Canelones department in sector 11 . Tala is about 15 kilometers to the southeast . The northern city limits of San Ramón form the Arroyo Pilatos and the Río Santa Lucía . The latter also serves as the border to the neighboring Florida party . Castellanos is located to the south .

On June 26, 1953, San Ramón was classified in the "Ciudad" category by Law No. 11,952.

Ruta 6 runs through the city in a south-north direction . In addition, San Ramón is connected to the national road network to the east via the Ruta 12 and to the west via the Ruta 63 .
