Martin eighth
Martin Achter (born October 28, 1905 in Walchshofen , † December 24, 1995 in Augsburg ) was a Catholic priest and prelate .
Life
Martin Acher studied in Munich, where he joined the Catholic student association WKSt.V. in 1924. Unitas Munich joined. On July 14, 1929, he was ordained a priest with papal approval from Auxiliary Bishop Karl Reth . Martin Achter was pastor of Dürrwangen from 1934 to 1944 . He was vicar general under Bishop Josef Stimpfle and since 1984 episcopal vicar of the diocese of Augsburg .
Honorary positions
From October 1976 he was a member of the board of directors of the Association for the History of the Augsburg Diocese.
