The Sandl is with a height of 723 m above sea level. A. one of the highest elevations in the Wachau . It lies north of the Danube loop from Rossatz . On the summit is the Weiglwarte (named after Augustin Weigl ), built in 1901 , from which one has a view of the Wachau and the southern Waldviertel .
