Sandro Bellucci

Sandro Bellucci (born February 21, 1955 in Lanuvio ) is a former Italian walker who was successful in the 50-kilometer distance .

He first appeared internationally in 1981 when he came third at the Walker World Cup in Valencia . At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 , he finished seventh. He celebrated the most important success of his career at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. There he won the bronze medal behind the Mexican Raúl González and the Swede Bo Gustafsson .

At the European Athletics Championships in 1986 in Stuttgart, Bellucci finished eleventh, and sixth at the 1987 World Athletics Championships in Rome. In contrast, it was enough for him at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul only to 32nd place. At the European Athletics Championships in 1990 in Split, he was eighth.

Sandro Bellucci is 1.70 m tall and had a competition weight of 56 kg.
