Sandy Feldstein
Sandy Feldstein (born September 7, 1940 in New York City as Saul Feldstein , † August 30, 2007 in Tarzana , Los Angeles , California ) was an American composer , arranger and conductor .
Life
Sandy Feldstein worked as an instructor in the field of percussion and was President of the Percussive Arts Society . He gave guest lectures nationwide at universities and at music conventions. He received a doctorate from Columbia University and was also recognized for his compositions by the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). In 2007 he died of cancer.
