St. Peter is a village and a cadastral municipality of the Rennweg am Katschberg municipality in the Spittal an der Drau district in Carinthia .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 291 building areas with 44,937 m² and 93 gardens on 24,580 m² in the cadastral parish of St. Peter , in 1989/1990 there were 272 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 615 and in 2009/2010 there were 344 buildings on 644 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 374 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 795 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 311 hectares and 814 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 275 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 938 hectares. The average soil climate number of St. Peter is 15.8 (as of 2010).
