The Sanlam Center ( English Sanlam Center ) is a building in downtown Windhoek , the capital of Namibia . It is located on Independence Avenue in Windhoek-Central and is named after its main tenant and contractor, the financial and insurance company Sanlam .
The Sanlam Center was built in 1990, the year of Namibia's independence, has 14 or 17 floors (three of which are underground), is 50.24 meters high and has 28,000 m² of office space.

In addition to retail space on the ground floor, the embassies of Germany , Iceland , Venezuela and the European Union have rented space here . With the American Cultural Center, the embassy of the United States of America also has a branch in this house.
