Sanschijka ( Ukrainian Санжійка ; Russian Санжейка Sanscheika ) is a village in the Ukrainian Odessa Oblast with about 800 inhabitants (2001).
In 1792, a military station was built on the site of the present village, around which the village emerged in the first half of the 19th century.
Sanshijka belongs administratively to the rural municipality of Dalnyk in the east of Owidiopol district .
The village is located at an altitude of 17 m on the Black Sea shore north of the mouth of the 71 km long Baraboj , about 7 km east of the Dalnyk community center, 15 km east of the district center of Owidiopol and 34 km south of the Odessa oblast center .
In Sanschijka there is a lighthouse built at the end of 2010, which, after the coastal section had frequently broken away, was built a little further inland than its predecessor. In addition, there has been a memorial to the writer Konstantin Paustowski in the village since 2012 , who spent a long time here and mentioned Sanschijka several times in one of his novels.
Sanschijka owns an Evangelical Baptist Church and a church building of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church . There are also several shops, a primary school, a kindergarten and an obstetrics center in the village, which is popular with bathers.
In the village, the territorial road T-16-47 meets the T-16-41 .
