Santa Margherita d'Adige is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Borgo Veneto and until 2017 was an independent municipality in the province of Padua in Veneto . The place is about 33.5 kilometers southwest of Padua .
history
In February 2018, Santa Margherita d'Adige merged with Saletto and Megliadino San Fidenzio to form the municipality of Borgo Veneto.
traffic
The former Strada Statale 10 Padana Inferiore (now a regional road) runs through the municipality from Turin to Monselice . In the north-south direction, the extension of the A31 autostrada through Santa Magherita, which is still under construction , will in future lead from Vicenza to Rovigo .
