Saphia Azzeddine
Saphia Azzeddine (born December 12, 1979 in Agadir , Morocco ) is a French- Moroccan author and journalist who also worked for the film.
Life
Azzeddine's mother grew up in France, her father comes from Figuig in Morocco. The family emigrated to France when Saphia was nine years old and settled in the Ain department in Ferney-Voltaire , west of Geneva airport . Before she started her studies, Saphia worked as an assistant at a diamond cutter.
Azzeddine studied sociology and published her first novel in French in 2008, which was translated into German in 2013. She lives in Geneva and works there as a journalist.
