Sarıbelen is a village in the province of Antalya in the district of Kaş . It has 865 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of about 743 meters. The Mediterranean beach is about six kilometers south of the village.

The village of Sarıbelen was formerly called Sidek. This name is likely of Greek origin ( Sidákê ). The village received the Turkish name Sarıbelen only after the establishment of the Republic of Turkey . In the list of village names by the Ministry of the Interior from 1928, the village still appears under its original name Sidek. In the Tabula Imperii Byzantini , Sarıbelen appears as Sidake.
