Sarah Jackson (born December 4, 1991 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American football player .

Career

In her youth, Jackson played for teams at the Sereno Soccer Club in Phoenix , Arizona , where she was, among other things, a teammate of the later national player Julie Ertz . During her studies at Santa Clara University , she ran from 2010 to 2013 for the local university team of the Santa Clara Broncos . At the beginning of the 2015 season, Jackson was appointed as an amateur player by the NWSL franchise of Portland Thorns FC and made her debut there on April 25, 2015 in the away game with the Chicago Red Stars . In the summer of 2015, after seven appearances for Portland, she moved to the Norwegian first division club Arna-Bjørnar .
