history

Nosutten (after 1785) or Nossuten (until 1945) was formerly a suburb of Kowalken (1938 to 1945 Beierswalde , Polish: Kowalki) and is closely connected to the history of this place. On September 30, 1928, it was incorporated into the rural community of Friedrichswalde (Polish: Cicholaski, no longer existent) and came to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war with southern East Prussia .

Under the Polish form of the name "Nasuty" the place was independent and is now the location of a Schulz Office (Polish: Sołectwo) and a location in the network of urban and rural community Gołdap in gołdap county until 1998, the Suwalki province , since the Warmia and Mazury belong .

religion

Until 1945, the vast majority of Nossut's population was of the Protestant denomination, and the place was parish in the parish of the Church of Grabowen (1938 to 1945: Arnswald, Polish: Grabowo) in the parish of Goldap in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The few Catholic church members belonged to the parish in Goldap , at that time in the Diocese of Warmia .

The now mostly Catholic population of Nasutys now belongs to the newly established parish Grabowo within the Gołdap deanery in the diocese of Ełk (Lyck) of the Catholic Church in Poland . Evangelical church members living here belong to the parish in Gołdap , a branch of the Suwałki parish in the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .
