Reichsstrasse 136
The National Highway 136 ( R 136 ) was to 1945, a state road of the German Reich . It ran in a west-east direction in central East Prussia and connected the cities of Angerburg ( Polish : Węgorzewo ) and Goldap ( Polish: Gołdap ) as well as the R 131 , R 132 and R 137 roads . Their total length was 44 kilometers.
Today the route of the former R 136 runs in the northern Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Poland . It bears the name of the Voivodship Road (Droga wojewódzka) DW 650 , which, however, already comes from Barciany ( Barten ) and leads via Węgorzewo to Gołdap, where it ends - like the R 136.
