The Reichsstraße 156 ( R 156 ) was a state road of the German Reich until 1945 , which was in the then Prussian province of Silesia . The short in their day running in the Federal Republic of Germany section of Bad Muskau to the Neisse no longer classified as a national highway road began in Bad Muskau on the national highway 115 and led in north-northeast direction on the route of the Polish Droga krajowa 12 by Triebel ( now Trzebiel ), where it ended at Reichsstraße 122 , which has now been replaced by the Polish Autostrada A18 (Poland) .
The number 156 now leads the current federal highway 156 set up in the GDR as trunk road 156 from Großräschen via Bad Muskau to Bautzen , which touches the route of Reichsstrasse 156 in Bad Muskau.
The total length of Reichsstraße 156 was around 14 kilometers.
