The National Highway 124 ( R 124 ) was up to 1945 a main road of the German Reich . It ran in a north-south direction in Western Pomerania , where it connected the Baltic Sea near Kolberg (now in Polish: Kołobrzeg) with the former Reichsstraße 2 near Körlin (Karlino) and the former Reichsstraße 1 near Deutsch Krone (Wałcz). Their total length was 118 kilometers.
Today the R 124 runs through the West Pomeranian Voivodeship as Polish Voivodeship Road 163 ( Droga wojewódzka 163 ) in the same route and length as it was before 1945.
